Ross Dawson has been in town for a long time running his small business. That happens by doing the right thing by people and doing a good job.

Paints are so much better these days and even preparation has changed, but it still needs to be done. Ross puts special attention to a good preparation.

He has painted countless houses since 1982 under the Dawson's Painting Service banner. He has also painted community halls, even a silo and a couple of trucks and tractors (these now must be done in spray booths and he doesn't do those any more).

He specialises in the interior or exterior low-set houses now. He does a lot of work for rental agents and a lot of times this really brings a house come back to life again. Many landlords know its value. Rental damage is still a thing. Ross can do a number of smaller repair jobs if he can fit it in. Some smaller jobs can be totally crazy; like the one where a Parrot ate a hole in the wall. Being a career painter he has seen a lot of changes, but he usually knows what is causing something and how to fix it.

So, to the big thing - he uses Dulux paints. It's just a great paint. And the big thing for the last - Ross is really good with product and colour information. Just ask for advice.

In his spare time Ross also likes art painting, so, painting is truly 'his thing'. He likes discussing art and philosophy and has a good sense of humor. You might even hear him singing on the job.
