Jumpers and Jazz in July

Is here again at The Public Hall, 207 Main St Bacchus Marsh, on Saturday & Sunday 22nd and 23rd October 2022. Map 18 F3

Kathy Cairns and volunteers have put together a program of some 125 contests, including Roses, Any Cut Flower from your garden, Floral Art table centrepiece of fruit and flowers, Australian Natives, Juniors & Shoebox garden, Garden Produce, Jams & Preserves, Photography, and Cakes.

The Show was started by Joce Williams in 2014 (see photo below), helped by a handful of her friends. In 2015, more groups came to work with the show, including the Rotary Club with Kathy Cairns, and the former mayor, Pat Griffin.

In 2019, under Karen’s leadership, the Flower & Garden Show was awarded the ‘Moorabool Shire Event of the Year’, which was a wonderful thing and something of which we can all feel proud.

So, come along, put in an entry, enjoy the show.

Most of the photos on our Pocket Books cover are from the 2019 Show. As the 2020 and 2021 shows were prevented from being held, this 2022 will be a bonza!! See the 2022 program below.

PS. Bacchus Marsh and district seems to have recovered from the Covid stress of a year ago when we could only show some 783 firms and clubs due to the number that closed, or said they were closing; this edition we have been able to list nearly double the number!
